Recently a customer received a call from someone representing himself as a Cornerstone Bank employee. The caller claimed that the bank was holding a large check issued to the customer from Publisher Clearing House and requested the customer's bank information.

PLEASE do not give out personal information or your bank account information to anyone before confirming that they are indeed who they say they are and what they are doing is legit. A good way to verify this is to call the bank and ask for the person who contacted you.
